The Benefits The tanks used in the production of our Wastewater systems and septic tanks are extremely light weight and robust. The tanks have been designed, certified and are manufactured to the Australian and New Zealand AS/NZS1546:2008. The Integra S-15 Wastewater system has been independently certified to comply with AS/NZS1546:2008 and AS/NZS1547:2012. Part of this certification required independent testing carried out by the National trial facility in Rotorua, the OSET-NTP. The Integra system has been approved after successful completion of these trials and produced very low power consumption results, comparable with leading textile systems. Compliance, …… this day and age itís easy for companies to say they comply with an Australian/New Zealand standard or other industry standard for a range of products. Actually demonstrating this is a different story. Bay of Plenty Regional Council has led the charge with on-site wastewater treatments systems. Rather than a statement about compliance, it has to be actually proven. Devan is currently the only company to have a septic tank that is fully compliant with AS/NZS1546.1:2008 Onsite domestic treatment units ñ Septic Tanks, approved by Bay of Plenty Regional Council. In addition to this the Devan Integra S-15 Wastewater system is now 1 of only 3 products on the market approved to meet both performance and most importantly the structural aspects of AS/NZS1546 Onsite domestic treatment units which is a requirement of installation in the Bay of Plenty region.
